I have noticed a store of yours going in at Rivertown Crossings Mall and was very excited. I also noticed that the positions you are hiring for are manager and assistant managers. I currently have been working two retail jobs on top of eachother since last year. I am very enthusiastic about health and espically tea! I've know a lot about its properties and health benefits and I know how to reccomend teas for certian things. I am also very flexable with my schedule I don't live more than five miles from the Rivertown Corssings Mall. Your store here would really be a nice benefit to have in our community.

I know how to make personable small talk before a sale. I know that people don't want to just be bombarded with sales pitches they want to know why our product would help them out. I can use computers and follow direction, keep things organized and clear and I am confident in my abilities to bring new ideas to the table.
Computer Skills: Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, mini movies and garage band. I also have a good typing speed
Foreign Language Skills: I know very little Spanish, I took a semester in my senior year in High School. I can always brush up on it if it's needed.
Additional Information
I have read many books on herbs and raw teas and roots that help with sore throats to helping prevent cancers and diseases. I have planned to attend school in the next couple years to have my own business eventually and sell teas and herbs and things that your store would greatly benefit me in the long run.
Honors: In the fifth grade I won the spelling bee, I was voted most changed through school and I never got in trouble once through High School. I also got an art piece shown at Calvin College.
Interests
I started loving tea when I would go to shows in downtwon Grand Rapids at the local music venues. From there I started learning more and more about the powerful antioxidants in the tea leaf. I drank tea through soccer season and theater season, out of school now I still do make tea very often and have visited local raw tea stores in the GR area. I give reccomendations to friends and lend out tea bags to whom ever is willing to try.
I spent the summer of 2009 taking the bus back and forth for volunteering at the Grandville Avenue of the Arts, I worked on arts projects in a classroom setting with an older teacher above me. I really liked having somewhere to go and something fun to do.
