Prior to working in Big W I had little to no work experience as a retail salesman or a night fill staff member, though through my 2 years of working there, I believe I have gathered the understanding of sales and retail work and still am willing to learn all there's on the matter of retail work.

Responsibilities: - Unpacking and sorting of store goods for front store sale. - Helping customers find various items, situated around the store. - Tidying up shelf's and isles.

Accomplishments: - Learning about the industry of retail sales through understanding and caring managers - Acquired a greater knowledge for customer satisfaction, through talking and reasoning with them - Learning how to properly care for assorted goods and the means to organize them. - Working as a team with other employees.

Newspaper delivery (08/11/2004 – 04/17/2006)

Previously I've helped my friend, who previously did the deliveries. It was a great experience for me understanding the roots and system of delivery. Then I saw an opening for a job in the industry, and I took it.

Accomplishments: This was my first paid job and from it I gathered I feel for what its like to work and achieve your own income and the satisfaction you get from it. And it also offered a great way to keep fit, on a weekly basis.

Additional Information

During my last year of schooling I attained a certificate for my excellence in my favored subjects of I.T.E and Multimedia. Which was due to my M.D.P (Major Design Project). Thanks to my knowledge of databasing and editing of photos and videos, along with my website design and layout skills, obtained during my final 2 years at high school, I received a substantial marking and grade for my effort and as a result received the reward as per mentioned.

Honors: Received an award, upon graduating year 10, for my year 10 course in multimedia. For excelling in work/ assessments and classroom ethics. And my Higher School Certificate, received at the beginning of 2010, indicating my fulfillment of year 12 and the H.S.C.

Certifications or Licensures: I have attained my provisional2 drivers license ( green P's). Royal Life Saving Australia, Resuscitation certificate, awarded to me on the 5/12/07 via a school program.

Interests

My interests include; football, drawing/stetching, playing video games, browsing the internet, socialising with friends on weekdays/weekends(whenever free time is had), helping friends or siblings with tasks that acquire assistance, like house work or homework. And I love technology and all its exciting advancements so far.
