Responsibilities: Assisted in all areas of maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration. Prepared homes for move-in on scheduled dates.
Lead Maintenance (04/02/2004 – 04/02/2006)
Last Employer: Sentinel Management - 580 Units
Responsibilities: Responsible for a staff of six. Communicate with vendors and contractors for supplies and timely move - ins. Maintain property curb appeal, inspecting all make readies, and responsible for all inventory.
Maintenance Supervisor (03/06/2006 – 07/04/2008)
Last Employer: Walnut Bent - 556 Units
Responsibilities: Assisted in preparing and planning for the maintenance budget and worked with the property management to ensure that maintenance operations remained within budgeted guidelines. Making sure replacement parts and tools maintained adequate and the garage shop areas were organized, clean and safe. Worked with management in selecting and training maintenance staff. Making sure all work- orders were done in a timely manner
Assistance Maintenance (07/07/2008 – Present)
Last Employer: Milestone Management - 344 Units
Responsibilities: Property up-keep, 24 hour emergency maintenance and 48 hour work-order turn around. Clearing all work orders off of Yardi. Responsible for all HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues. Able to work with minimal supervision.
Skills
11 years of general maintenance experience . Previous experience supervising employees, including directing work, evaluating performance and coaching for improvement. Technical training in the areas of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC. Familiar with 1.5 - 3/5 ton a/c units and brands such as Trane, Ruud, Goodman.
Computer Skills: Yardi & all basic computer skills. Able to read blue prints and schematics.
Foreign Language Skills: Spanish.

Interests
Enjoy the challenge of troubleshooting and correcting mechanical and electrical issues. Willing to work when and where needed when emergency maintenance activities are required including evenings or weekends.
