Skills
I have a lot of experience working with people and accompanying their needs in my previous and current jobs. I have done field work (student teaching) in classrooms with assistance from Rutgers University. I am told that I have a teaching personality and I cannot wait to implement all of the tricks I have picked up along my educational path. I enjoy public speaking and feel that I can use that as a major asset when in control of my own classroom.
Interests
I enjoy reading the newspaper and keeping up with current events. I find challenges entertaining and I like to do research on just about everything. I love to work with children and have volunteered in the Big Buddy organization where I spent hours per week working with special education kids in the New Brunswick area at Lincoln Elementary School. I am involved in a fraternity which is devoted to community service and philanthrapy. On numerous weekends while others were partying or getting over partying our brotherhood woke up early and particpated in many charity walks and park clean-ups in order to better our surronding community. As the Athletic Chair in my fraternity I personally organized a fundraising event for Lincoln Elementary school which raised over $2,000 of playground equipment for their everyday use. Upon completion of a collegiate music course I taught myself to play the keyboard and take great pleasure in writing and playing music. I take pride in making people smile and seeing others happy.
