Last Employer: ERC Industries

Responsibilities: Test gate valves, tear down, clean and rebuild gate valves. Chart pressure test valves for clients, drive forklift, use cranes, use various power tools and hand tools.

Accomplishments: At ERC Industries, I had no idea what a gate valve was. I learned the testing first, then when I had no testing, I helped other technicians to learn tear down and rebuld of the gate valves. I also did a little sandblasting. I became very profficient in my work.

Woodroom labor (09/15/2005 – 01/25/2008)

Last Employer: Polytubes Plastics

Responsibilities: Assmble wood reels for wrapping plastic pipe onto. I had to make numerous size wood reels as well as steel reels, build pallets, Use of nail guns, table saw, drill press.

Accomplishments: I learned to trouble shoot prblems with a reel after pipe was on it and how to fix to save the reel rather than scrap the pipe and remake

Sandblaster (04/04/2008 – 09/07/2008)

Sandblasting steel tanks

Last Employer: ZCL Composites

Responsibilities: Sandblast above ground steel tanks to prepare for painting. Clean warehouse when no blasting needed, assist in rigging and loading tanks to be shipped by truck. Drive forklift, drive truck and trailer around yard.

Accomplishments: I had no prior experience with this work before here so I gained experience in sandblasting. I learned to drive a pick up truck and trailer, backing trailer into tight spots, recieved fall protection training.
