Responsibilities: I walked Sandy through the neighborhood, including the park. I was very conscientious about the Poop and Scoop by-law. When we returned, I made sure Sandy had food and water for the rest of the afternoon.
Accomplishments: I was in charge of another being's welfare. This is important because it taught me to be responsible and what it means to have someone relying on you.
Babysitter (11/06/2009 – Present)
Upon successful completion of the Red Cross Babysitter's course, I held a position as a babysitter for an 8 year old boy.

Responsibilities: We play board games, hockey, and go to the park. I am responsible for feeding him snacks and dinner. I also put him to bed after reading him a story.
Accomplishments: I was responsible for a child's well being. He relied on me to be smart and safe.

I unpacked boxes of hockey trophies over a weekend of a tournament.

Accomplishments: This required hard work and being responsible for meeting a time line. It was important to me that I earned part of my volunteer hours required for completion of my secondary school education.
