Objective
I am a hardworking, honest and reliable employee. I am keen and eager to further my career. Presently I am aiming at pursuing a Personal Carer career. I have partially completed my Cert 3 in Aged Care. I have obtained my Cert 1, 2 & 3 in Community Services and have a current First Aid certificate and Police Check. As my resume will show I have furthered my education throughout the years and am willing to continue this learning during my career. I am looking at furthering my education into Nursing with the Polytechnic.
I am available for any shifts at short notice due to not having family commitments anymore due to my children becoming adults. I am available by mobile phone at any time of day and night and have a drivers licence and reliable car to assist with my availability.

Interests
I am a divorced mother of 2 children aged 21 & 22.Grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter who is nearly 4. I have actively assisted various youths over the years . This community youthwork occupied 17 years of my life while raising a family. This involved liasoning with Police department, Corrective services, Youth Services such as Youth Justice, Social Workers, Probation and Parole , Centrelink, Medical Staff and various schools and Job Networks.I was also a role model for many of these youths who were able to better their lives is various ways throughout the years.I gained a fosterson who is 26 whom has a child of 2 yrs of age.
I enjoy music , my family (including my extended family members ) fishing and camping.
I enjoy other peoples company and during my role as a personal care assistant have had some tremendous opportunities to respect and enjoy the company of my elders.
I have cared for many clients through their time requiring palliative care and bonded with many family members through their times of grief.
