Interests

I am very thankful that I have had basketball in my life for 7 years.  I started playing in Grade 6 and have barely had a weekend off since then.  I played for rep teams in my city and became a very dedicated team player.  Basketball has taught me many valuable traits such as time management, team work, individual practice, hard work, perseverance and dedication to the task at hand.

As well, I love to volunteer.  I have volunteered at numerous basketball events (mostly scoring and timekeeping) as well as working at a volunteer basketball camp teaching younger children the basic fundementals of basketball.  It is such a rewarding feeling to help out and now that you are making a difference in someone's life other than yourself.
