As I was underage to work, I have worked with my parents to further my exposure to the sales / retail industry. I helped understand the importance of customer service and loyalty and product placement, (how it may intice potential customers to purchase) conducted mark downs and offered book selections to customers

Responsibilities: On weekends I have volunteered my time at Chapters to help with excess mark downs, kids events, product placement and some offered suggestions to customers browsing in teen section of store.
Accomplishments: Being in a customer focused envirornment has allowed me to see the importance of awareness of people around me and how offering my honest , personal opinion of genres of books, could entice people to buy.
