Responsibilities: Sr. Programmer/Analyst for FMPMIS (Fleet Modernization Program Management Information System).. Implemented 3DES Encryption/Decryption for user login sessions..Designed and Implemented an Electronic File Transfer System (EFTS) that is capable of sending both FAD (Financial Accounting Documents) and Standard Funding Documents, via FTP, to the Navy’s main Accounting system, STRIPES (STARS Remote Interactive Program for Electronic Submission). Also, implemented a Retrieval Application that runs as a Service, for parsing and updating the FMPMIS Database needed to handle Message/Response files returned from the remote server. Designed and Implemented a Hash table encryption algorithm used as an extra layer of security used with the Retrieval Service Application. Add the capability for both the Budget and Execution applications to accept Command Line parameters during the login process. A new “login” object was implemented to handle the command line parameters. A Preprocessor Directive is used to determine if the application will open using command line parameters, or if it is to use the login screen. This was ready and tested in less than one week. Implemented a new Oracle Table and object for storing and retrieving each users application preferences.
