Responsibilities: Ensure production goals are being followed and quality of product is in accordance with company standards. Update and Schedule jobs to maximize machine efficiencies and minimize downtime. Work with maintenance on machine upkeep . Communicate with shipping department to meet delivery needs of our clients. Follow up on SOP training with employees as well as ensure that Company Health & Safety Policies are adhered to.
Accomplishments: Latest accomplishment was the start up of Prototype Robotics Line which I was the lead on. Worked with JMP Engineering on getting the system to run to production targets.Trained employees on how to run the line . Also learnt on how to troubleshoot the equipment by working with system integrators over the phone and in person. Was the part the team that incorporated a computerized Manufacturing System to streamline Production and Shipping Functionality. Did various Studies on Production efficiencies. Worked with other Supervisors on the start of 5S at our machines as part of Lean 6 Sigma Implementation. Shift that I supervised also set 12 hour Production Record as well as the 24 hour Production Record working with our partner shift.

Responsibilities: As Trainer I went to Mexico to train the employees on how to run a Harris 966 Printing Press. I spent 6 months there. As production supervisor for 8 years I was responsible for the production and quality of my shift. Did color press approvals on my own and with clients to ensure their satisfaction. Ensured employees were working in accordance with company policies and SOP's.
Accomplishments: Successfully completed 966 press start up in Mexico. Was put in charge of the successful start up of a offline Bindery Dept in the Plant. Started at an entry level Position and worked my way up through the Ranks to the Position of Production Supervisor.
