I am an individual seeking full-time employment in an area that fits my skillset.  I have experience in fields including customer relations, food preparation, and delegation in a managerial setting. I worked as a cashier for the Mothers Against Drunk Driving fundraiser which taught me how to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities: My responsibilities included cashing out customers and maintaining a safe and secure front end. Frequently I worked in the electronics section of the super center.

Accomplishments: I ranked among the top of Wal-Mart cashier in terms of their cashier assessment tool called Scans Per Minute (SPM). I can also type up to 72 words per minute on the computer.

Food Preparation (05/12/2009 – 04/01/2010)

This job helped contribute to my overall career goal of owning a corporation. I was exposed to controversial business decisions and gained experience and wisdom in terms of developing a business sense.

Responsibilities: My responsibilities included working on the grill to maintain the levels of cooked meat available for consumption. Occasionally I was sent to the front of the store to work as a cashier.

Accomplishments: While working at McDonalds I achieved the promotion to crew trainer in my fifth month. Upon this promotion, responsibilites including time management and personnel relations were placed upon me.

Food preparation similar to the work done at McDonald's. This experience helped me broaden my business sense and helped develop my social skills.

Computer Skills: As mentioned previously, I have a WPM of 72. I have mastered the basic skills to graphic design. I am able to navigate and research the internet effectively.

Foreign Language Skills: I can speak fluent English and Punjabi. I have basic understanding skills in French and Spanish.

Additional Information

While attending Mississauga Secondary School I received awards regarding my athletic talent in the sport of baseball.

Honors: Throughout high school I maintained an academic average above 80%. I received specific honours in grade twelve history.

Research Projects: I have done research projects on the viscosity of water and the long term effects of tobacco use.

Interests

My interests include sports, music, television and other leisure activities. I am particularly engaged in baseball as I play it and watch it. I listen to all kinds of music and am particularly interested in the hidden messages suggested by some artists. I also enjoy researching history and gaining knowledge from our nation's prior mistakes.
