Objective

-Providing field support for a full line of forestry and construction equipment for a major truck and equipment supplier in BC.

Responsibilities: -Work out of a service truck to provide support for customers. -Attachment installation on excavators and feller bunchers. -Air Conditioning and Fire Suppression repairs.
Accomplishments: Aquired new customers from competition by providing first class service to all makes and models of equipment. -Completed many factory sponsored courses on related equipment including excavators, log skidders, skidsteers, backhoes, feller bunchers, and several harvester attachments. -Also completed courses on HVAC, AC retrofitting, and Fire Suppression.

Computer Skills: Computer literate with moderate typing skills. Some service and repair programs installed on my laptop for more effective on site performance of troublshooting and repair.
Additional Information
*Harvestech Services was established after leaving Parker Pacific in 1999 and the last 12 years have been spent operating this small business. *Having been hired by Parker Pacific with journeyman status a Red Seal mechanics certificate was never needed or pursued. Only after leaving BC last fall and discovering the excitment of working in an environment of large construction projects and huge iron did I realze the need for me to pursue the Red Seal. Upon returning to BC after the project in Alberta I applied to challenge the Red Seal exam. I have since passed the assessment process and am now in the scheduling phase. There may be several weeks before the process is complete but I am determined to see it through.
Honors: **Harvestech Services was asked to return to Parker Pacific several times over the next 5 years as a consultant travelling to remote locations to troubleshoot and repair specialized equipment. As well as delivery of new equipment that was troublesome upon startup. **Personally requested by Workers Compensation Board of BC to assist in an accident investigation regarding a piece of euipment involved in a fatality.
