Objective
Currently I am employed as a Kiln Attendant at Graymont Western, Pilot Peak plant. I am looking to expand my knowledge and become an even greater asset as a Kiln Operator. In addition I am hoping to move somewhere where there are further opportunities for my wife to finish school and fulfill her dream to become a nurse.

Responsibilities: The most important of my current responsibilities is to work closely with my Operator to ensure quality of the lime by running samples and making changes to production as necessary. Safety is also high on my priority list and daily walk arounds are part of my routine.

Accomplishments: Smoke School Certification that I have continued to renew every 6 months.

Skills
I consider myself to be a people person, I get along easily with others and strive to be a team player. I also believe myself to be a hard worker and aspire to learn all that I can to continually achieve more knowledge in my chosen field. I have had some on the job training with several Operators to gain the skills that I have yet to acquire.
Computer Skills: I am familiar with most computer software and am willing to learn any others necessary.
Foreign Language Skills: I am bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English fluently

Conferences or Courses: I am always current with MSHA Certification, I have taken a First Responders Course as well as a Lifting and Rigging class and Ametek.
Interests
In my spare time I am an ameteur Mixed Martial Arts fighter and coach. I spend a significant amount of time training and reading about this growing sport. I have also taught a children's class free to my community to share my knowledge that included my two daughters, ages 3 and 8. I am hoping to teach them, among other qualities, discipline, respect, and self worth.
