Work Experience
Extruder Operator (07/14/1986 – Present)
I have been working in the Extruder Department since 1987 as an operator . While I was in this position I learned and was qualified on all aspects of the Extruder line including the testing and operating of the line . During my time in the department I have been involved in writing and updating the operating procedures, training of new operators, helping in the start up of new products and developing ways to reduce wast and down time.
Last Employer: Kevin McGreger
Responsibilities: It is my job to make the flattest possible film with the least amount of waste that I can and to do it safely with as little down time as possible. I also load our film onto trailers out on the loading dock and bring in stands and supplies for the next shift .
Accomplishments: I was involved in the start up and qualification of the medical film . I figured out the easiest way to start the line up which is completely different then the way we would normally do it. I figured out how to make the Decals for the die work and since then we have made them work even better. When we first did the change over to the nip takeaway it took 24 hours now it only takes 5 hours. Over the years I have learned and been qualified on all the lift trucks in the Warehouse and I have worked a lot of O.T. there, I also went to the ScotchBrite plant and worked there in the warehouse for 6 months.
Assisant Coater Operator
My experience in coating involved learning the Unwind, Solution Compounding, Adhesive Compounding, and the lab and to rotate thru all positions and also to run both laminators.
Last Employer: Allan Wright
Accomplishments: I have wrote and passed the operator assistants test and work in coating when ever I get the chance to stay current on all the updates that are happening in the department. I have worked in Coating anywhere from 6 months to a year quite a few times (at least 4 times) and the latest time was longer than that.

Degree: Grade 12
Skills
I have numerous skills that I would bring to the Coating Dept. I am qualified on all the lift trucks on site including the scissor lift and zoom boom, in order to qualify for these I had fall arrest training . I also have 1st aid and I have very good mechanical and problem solving skills and I also think I have a good work ethic . My attendence is very good and my saftey record is perfect.
Computer Skills: I have a good knowledge of CICS and a general knowledge of docstar and most other aspects of the computer.
Interests
I enjoy most outdoor activites like hunting and fishing, I do a lot of camping in the summer with my family and we generally travel around the area.My kids are into swimming and soccer so a lot of my free time is spent driving them around.
