Objective

I would like to have the opportunity to work with youth. During time spent interning at Rosehill, I learned how to connect with youth in a fundamental and constructive way. As a means to helping them work through their dependencies, as well as other traumas.


Work Experience

Pharmacy Technician (11/05/2005 – Present)

Handling insurance claims, doctor phone calls, counseling patients and processing prescriptions. As well as processing all the medication in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities: Maintaining HIPPA regulations, as well ensuring the patients are well taken care of.

Accomplishments: Started working in Wal-Mart as a cashier, within two months transferred to floor work in the pharmacy. Within six months of sales floor work, I was then promoted to technician.

Shift Manager (05/24/2002 – 10/31/2005)

Handling a crew of six or more people.

Last Employer: Burger King

Responsibilities: Scheduling of the staff, ordering and process food orders. Managing of the crew during morning and overnight shifts. Handling the cash registers during the change of shifts.

Accomplishments: Being able to work my way from day crew worker to shift manager in one year of employment.

Research Projects: During my time in my undergraduate I conducted research on violence in the media and if sound effected the perceieved amount of violence. The results showed sound impacted the strength of perceived violence in the media.

Interests

Singing as well as participating in sports such as swimming, basketball, and softball are some of the things I enjoy to do.

In free time I donate to locate community offices such as Salvation Army and Saint Vincent de Pauls in my local community.
