Civil General foreman (02/01/2009 – 01/15/2010)
Managed foreman as well as a civil construction crew building the main pump station for the Trans Canada pipeline in Hardisty Alberta.

Responsibilities: I directed foreman, supervised trades, managed blueprints and layout and put in controls to manage safety.
Accomplishments: We finished civil projects way in advance of our deadlines while achieving excellent safety standards. We were awarded the Bob Tarr safety award from PCL Industrial.
Civil General foreman (07/01/2008 – 03/10/2009)
Underground construction. We had contracts to build two underground overhead cranes as well as some other small contracts. We worked in a potash mine in Esterhazy Saskatchewan and a nickel mine in Sudbury Ontario.

Responsibilities: I looked after a crew with several different trades in it. I was in charge of blueprint reading and layout. My other responsibilities were to set the standards of safety as well as to increase the quality of work and productivity of the trades.
Accomplishments: We achieved a 100% safety record with 0 first aids. All contracts were finished ahead of schedule and to the clients complete satisfaction.

We did the underground and surface construction for the De Beer's Diamond mine in Snap lake N.W.T.

Commercial construction. In my last 2.5 years with this company I was a foreman on a suspended slap crew, free form wall crew and an EFCO elevator shaft crew. The last 25 years were spent on the Esplanade in Medicine Hat and the Glenmore professional building in Calgary Alberta.
