Responsibilities: I do Inpatient and outpatient pre and post-op teaching. Procedure teaching such as colostomy, radiology procedures. Also, I do diabetic education and injection teaching. I do all the central scheduling at my current position, as well as coordinate all of our activities for our swing bed patients. I am our hospitals point of care coordinator for the electronic patient medical record. I create flow charts and electronic forms for our facility. I also am in charge of Computerized Physician order entry. I create and maintain orders for the physicians.
Accomplishments: Sucessfully set up an electronic scheduling program and implemented and maintain the nursing point of care elecrtonic charting. Create and maintain eforms for our facility. Set up the computerized Physician order entry that has put us on our way to acheiving meaningful use.
