Accomplishments: It was my very first job so I learned how to be responsible for a job that didnt directly benefit myself.

Relevant: Learned perserverence through a job I may not have fully enjoyed also had to work around many other people in a professional manner. First job where I received a set time to show up and then go home.

Responsibilities: Keeping the dish pit and pot room clear of all dishes. Stacking cleaned dishes in a window to transfer into kitchen. Putting other dishes away in there proper place.

Accomplishments: I did so well at this job after the 2 years of work I was promoted. I received the experience of having a steady job and the responsabilities that came with that. Having to keep up with other work and managing the money I was given for this job.

Relevent: Have to be with patrons all day seeing it is a dinner theatre. Through this I have learned hospitality. Other: Working in the kitchen has taught me different aspects about food and the techniques that come with preparing it.

Responsibilities: Must help main chef to prepare all proper ingredients for the meal. Must clean and put away food properly. Have to monitor the buffet line and fill up any food that has run low. Help customers with allergies to know what food they can and cannot eat.

Accomplishments: I have acheived in properly learning how to carve and smoothly replace buffet pans. I have made a meaningful contribution in my friendliness and helpful nature I provide to the patrons regarding the food.

Responsibilities: Dress proffesional seeing as it is a semi-formal outing. Set up tables accordingly as to how many patrons will be attending the show at that time. Call party names and lead them to their designated table. Once all people have been seated I must float around and ensure people are happy by refilling water, tea or coffee. Clear dishes off the tables when patrons have finished eating.

Accomplishments: In this position I have created formal friendships with fellow employees and employers and work is a joy to attend. I am efficient and good at my job as to the point I could accomplish a small show on my own.

Skills

Research: If I encounter a situation where my knowledge comes up short I am willing to research the subject and come back with a better idea. Adaptability: Very flexible and enjoy being challenged with multiple tasks at hand. Leadership: I am very goal driven and work as a team player to acheive high expectations. Reasoning: Creative at trying to solve conflicts with rational tactics. Morality: Know what is right and honest and am willing to lead others to do so.

Computer Skills: I am fairly familiar with computers as I constantly use them for school. Have worked with spreadsheets in the form of order forms and graphs.

Foreign Language Skills: French: Currently taking French 20.

Additional Information

Honors: Grade 10: I was awarded with the board of excellence award, excellence in science/math and excellence in social/english.

Conferences or Courses: Speak Out Conference: Attended this in 2009, it took place in Edmonton, Alberta. From this conference I developed my skills of speech by being forced to share my opinions of the school system with a large group of peers. Also developed my thinking abilities as we spend a lot of time thinking up creative suggestions for the school system.

Interests

I am a very athletic person and within a year am involved in sports such as soccer, ringette, cross country and track and field. I am a team player and I enjoy trying to find a way to get my teammates just as excited about the game as I am. I am currently working on my grade 8 piano and have my certificate for grade 6. Also I have completed my grade 2 theory exam. My passion is singing and currently I am working towards a grade 8 exam. In the past I have completed my grade 6 voice exam, been involved in a dinner music program where I sing around tables while people eat and sang at the old folks home for their entertainment. I am also involved in a womens choir. In order to be accepted into this choir one must audition and i attend weekly. With my singing I have made it to provincials 4 times and won various awards for piano and voice. Yearly there is a town cleanup in which my family and I participate in because it is beneficial for my town.
