Objective
I would like to serve my country as a U.S. Border Patrol Agent because of patriotism and a sense of duty. I served in Iraq as a member of a Police Transition Team. We trained Iraqi Police in every aspect of police work, but mainly focused on searching for drugs and weapons being smuggled into the country. It was there that I realized that I wanted to serve my country in a more direct way, the same way that I had done for Iraq. Keeping illegal immigrants and contraband out of the United States is essential to our nation's security.
