Objective
I am currently working a full time job at the Ekati diamond mine in the Northwest Territories. My work shift is two in camp and two weeks out. Although I have extensive experience in the mining industry, I’m always ready to learn. I am very good at working alone and figuring out problems. I am seeking a position where I can develop and excel while giving my best to an employer.

I have experience with operating heavy equipment Includes Caterpillar IT28, Hyster R80 forklift, Hyster S60 Forklift, Bobcat778,Caterpillar 988G

Responsibilities: My duties include a lot of equipment checks and walk around of the Process Plant, Clean up Of the Plant, IT28 Operation, forklift Operation, Helping millwrights once and a while and other labour jobs such as Shoveling muck under conveyors. I have an excellent safety record with the company In the Sorting area my duties include a lot of computer work such as Excel work sheets and a lot of data base. I work by myself and I do have a lot of responsibility, I have to have all my work completed on time every day. I sort diamonds all day by size, shape color and grade. After I bag the diamonds in there appropriate bags and seal them. I put the diamonds into the vault and log all the diamonds in. I would prepare the shipment and have it taken out when asked.
Accomplishments: Have overhead crane certification. WHMIS. MSDS. Working at heights level 2.
Warehouse Helper (01/08/2003 – 05/07/2003)
My duties in this job was helping with shipping and receiving for the Winter ice road. I had to package up pallets of the proper weight for the Trucks to be safe on the ice road. I also helped with crane lifts of a new camp. This job is where I got Training for the Hyster R80 and IT28.

Responsibilities: Knowing where to inventory parts and different warehouse items. Piloting trucks to different parts of the mine site on haul roads.
