Interests
When not at work I enjoy spending time with my family. We spend weekends finding new and enriching activities to take part in. Whether it be a day at the state park, an afternoon at the library, or weekend trip, I believe that the world is ours to explore, and try to share that with my step-daughter and son.
My family and I recently discovered an activity called Geocaching, and have developed a great love for getting out and following g-p-s coordinates to find hidden caches, especially caches that have travelled from great distances or that have treasures for my children.
I was recently given the opportunity to volunteer with the 54th Annual Lions Club Telethon of Stars in the capacity of Talent Runner. It was my responsibility to make sure that the performers made it to the stage for their scheduled performance time. It was an experience that was very enjoyable for me and I hope to be able to volunteer with the telethon again in 2011.
