Complete the intake function on applicants to determine eligibility for immediate or future placement in Agency operated housing programs according to specific program priorities and availability. Ensure that each unit that goes on the housing program is rent reasonable. Maintain an updated rent reasonable book with comparable unassisted properties. Annual inspection of each unit assigned to determine if the unit is maintained in a safe, decent and sanitary living condition, conforms to HUD Housing Quality Standards. Certify and document on a case-by-case basis that the assisted rent does not exceed rents charged by the owner for comparable unassisted units in the private market. Create and maintain automated case management files on program participants. Assist in the development of various training programs to benefit consumers and staff. Maintain effective working relationships with human service agencies and other community resources.

Accomplishments: Within 30 days of receiving position I doubled the size of the program.
