Im the operator of a high pressure water pump and we remove scale build up from vessels piping, etc. for cal energy, ormat, power plants.

Responsibilities: In a safe manner we use a high pressure water pump, and we clean scale build up, we also use several equipments, such as fork lifts, man lifts, and some power tools for the reason that sometimes we have to brake up pipes, valves so we have access to clean the item. We also have to work in a safe manner, and comply with oshas standards, and when we finish, we have to clean up the area and dispose of the scale in a safe and proper way. when we are not at cal energy we work at our shop and give maintenance to our equipments, such as the pumps, the diesel engine, tilt pumps, trash pumps, and as I'm in charge of the welding i repair and manufacture new equipment.
Accomplishments: I have been certified in many things, and have learned how to repair equipment, and use power tools in a safe way, and have learned about how the geothermal process works and have experience and an understanding of oshas standards.

I know how to operate a fork lift, man lift, I'm certified in hazworper, first aid, cpr, I know how to weld, and repair equipments such as tilt pumps, I know how to safely operate power and hand tools,and how to use them to remove piping valves, I also have an understanig on how the geothermal power plants function, and i also have an understanding on oshas and environmental regulations
