RF 3G Optimization/Performance Engineer (02/16/2008 – Present)

Responsibilities: • Manage the overall network performance of the 3G network using the statistic data. • Deliver radio network design and performance improvement services; activities include radio network planning, performance monitoring and measurement, capacity planning and forecasting, and radio network optimization to meet customer objectives and performance targets. • Structuring the goals and standards of each the individual member and also the whole performance management group. • Provide substantive and accurate information that will convey 3G-network’s performance to the internal and external customers. • Organize, attend, Conduct presentations and participate RF meeting with customer. Initiate and generate technical proposal and recommendations to internal and external customer • Ensure that the group is kept abreast with the technical developments of the telecommunications field by research activities, technical development activities and also managing information in the knowledge database in order to have effective knowledge build and transfer. • To provide necessary training and competency transfer to internal or external customer • Maintain and to enhance the network quality and performance of the 3G network by statistical analysis of the key performance indicator (KPI). Making of performance report of 3G Network. (SIEMENS and NOKIA equipments). • Lead a special team or a task force to solve specific problem. Provide end to end analysis and troubleshooting of RNC and Node-B for special situation/new problem and for VIP complain. • Defining, auditing and monitoring parameter consistency check rules in order to Maintain RNC parameter database consistent internally and implemented according to the RNC(Nokia and Siemens) default parameters or planned specific parameters • Checking and monitoring the status of RNC (radio network controller) and Node B’s. Defining main alarms to be monitored regarding the indicators to be improved • Trialing and implementing new feature to improve overall radio network performance. Giving input to RF planning department in terms of capacity, quality and coverage for expansion phases. • Analyzing drive test measurements to detect eventual problems and recommend changes to fix those problems. • Develop tools/programs; evaluate new process and documentation for troubleshooting and operator hints that will improve processes with other engineers. Including the optimization of schedule jobs and database management

Accomplishments: • I have always been a top performer which is reflected in all of my yearly reviews
