Objective
A professional work environment within or relating to Industrial Technology, including manufacturing and both white and blue collar positions. Seeking a position which will let me showcase my ability with technology, as well as with machinery. Responsibilities: Managed and Supervised the operation of the mainframe servers, email servers, and all other servers on the ISU network. Oversaw operations of backup tape drives, proceedures, and printing operations. Also delivered printed documents to various administrative buildings around campus. On occasion, assembled/disassembled various University furniture and set up offices for staff.
Accomplishments: Learned much about the day-to-day operations of the server room at ISU, along with the distribution side; how reports get filed and delegated.
Paint and Assemble / Secondary Machinery Tech (05/24/2004 – 08/17/2007)

Responsibilities: Manufactured various hooks, shackles, and other forged metal parts for assembly. Also, assembled said parts and packaged them into proper shipping containers for sale. Occasionally painted all of the parts. Have experience operating a fork truck, along with skid loaders and various other machinery. Worked in the shipping department also, handling orders and making sure the customers were shipped with exactly what they ordered in as fast of a time as possible.
Accomplishments: Achieved the 2nd highest parts/day total for a three month period. Got a extremely useful understanding of how an entire factory works, from forging the parts all the way to shipping them out and everything in between. I learned the decisions that have to be made regarding everything about the operations of the plant aren't always easy nor clear. Seeing first hand how changes in policy affect morale.

Interests
