Six years of experience handling a high sample volume with reliability, accuracty and a quick turn-around time. This hospital was a liver transplant hospital and required many units at one time to be ready for surgery. I was one of four total who worked this shift.

Responsibilities: -Performed testing for blood group antigens, compatibility and antibody identification. -Supported physicians in transfusion therapy, including candidates for allogenic organ (liver, pancreas, kidney) transplant. -Issued components (FFP, cryo and platelets) to patients. -Operated the blood cell washer and irradiator. -Experienced with pooling platelets and aliquoting packed cells and platelets for small volume transfusion to infants.

Technical Administrator (08/05/1999 – 04/05/2001)

Interacted with the project manager and a variety of departments, including but not limited to Medical Affairs, Materials Management and marketing and operations, to determine protocol requirements. Successfuly gathered all neccessary information to be translated into Covance database.
