Objective
I would like to be considered for the Compounding Lab Technician position. I am currnetly working as the Head IV/Compounding Technician at a Long Term Care Pharmacy, where I have been for the last four years.

Responsibilities: Manage all IV patient charts and send supplies, medications, and equipment as necessary on a daily basis. Also, process all incoming orders for any compounds that need to be made and dispensed. I also need to ensure all items have been properly billed. I also go to facilities we service and assist in doing In-services for IV pumps and equipment associated with them.
Accomplishments: I have helped the department business increase in size, maintain a managable inventory level and have built a great rapor with much of the nursing staff I interact with.
District Trainer (06/14/2004 – 04/20/2007)
Travel throughout the company and train pharmacy staff and troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities: I was responsible for scheduling training time with pharmacy staff, training them and following up with any issues that develop. I also assisted in setting up and opening any new pharmacies within my district.
Skills
I am able to multi-task and switch gears as needed. I have great organizational skills. Currently I assist in writing compounding templates for any new compounds we make.
Computer Skills: I am familiar with many different computer programs, including QS1, Docutrack, Excel, Etc.
Additional Information
Professional Membership: I am a memeber of the National Pharmacy Technician Association. I also was the Technician Liason while sitting on the Board of the Maine Pharmacy Association for several years.
Certifications or Licensures: I have been Nationally Certified since 2001.
Interests
When not working I enjoy attending my son's sporting events with my husband.
