objective
I am looking to get involved in the Engineering scene in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. I am someone who learns extremely quickly, and I grasp the concepts of science and engineering extremely easily. WESA would benefit from my employement, and as I progress in my Mechanical Engineering degree at Carleton, I would become more and more capable and beneficial to the company. In the end, when my degree is finished, you will have an employee who is extremely capable, smart, and already fully trained to work for your company.
While at first I would only be able to do smaller jobs, by the time my degree is done I will have all the hands on experience needed to work in your company. This experience is what other graduates straight out of university would not have.

Interests
I am a very involved cross-country skier. I compete Nationally, and even internationally. I am on the Quebec team and the Junior National Team. This past winter I was selected to compete internationally at the World Junior Championships in Germany. I work very hard to achieve these goals, and I train upwards of 600 hours per year.
While this is not necessarily pertinent to a career in engineering, I simply wish to show that I am hard working and determined. I don't give up when things don't work out, I keep at them until I get what it is that I want.
