Skills

I am proficient at starting IV's and pushing medications though an IV line. I also know how to write patient care reports. I also know how to place a cardiac monitor on some who is complaining of chest pain, I can also read what the monitor is showing.

Computer Skills: I can type about 60-80 words a minute.

Foreign Language Skills: I can speak a few words in spanish. I can ask if someone is in pain, is cold, ask how they're doing, and say hello.

Additional Information

Certifications or Licensures: I am certified in ACLS, PALS, ITLS, CPR, and AMLS. I am also certified as a state paramedic, and am nationally registered as well.

Interests

I played basketball and ran track while I was in high school. I love people and like to help them in any way that I can. I enjoy spending time with my family and I treat every patient that I come in contact with as if they are my family.
