Objective
Customer service is the skill that I am most proud of, experience as a Shift Lead at Jamba Juice and as a Little League umpire has provided very good experience both in how to deal with difficult situations, and to always provide customers with a positive, uplifting experience. Responsibilities: My responsibilities included leading shifts in a managerial capacity, keeping my team enthusiastic and engaged, handling labor issues, as well as more complicated food service tasks set aside for Leads including temperature checks, brixing and calibrating juices, making oatmeal, and disassembling and cleaning heavy equipment. This is in addition to normal Team Member tasks such as making smoothies, cash handling, and providing superior customer service by educating customers on our product as well as engaging them in lively conversation so that they were leaving Jamba more energized than when they entered.
Accomplishments: My accomplishments from this job are the learning of excellent customer service skills, as well as forming lasting good relationships with team members, my fellow leads, and management.

Foreign Language Skills: I have had some education in Spanish and certainly know enough to be able to effectively take an order in Spanish.
Interests
My personal interests are being very involved in my community, and volunteering especially in children's activities. In addition to volunteering as a Little League umpire I have also volunteered time in elementary school classrooms as a teachers assistant and tutor. I love to learn and am currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in History, and a teaching credential at California State University, Fullerton.
