i started there in September of 2009, my job duties there are to ship, receive and pick orders. It is a tire distribution center.

Responsibilities: load and unload tires off semis. pick orders put away product. move product to certain locations using a fork lift , pallet jack or pallet rider.

Accomplishments: learned a lots of new things about wheels and tires that i didn't know before i started there.

picked orders that customers ordered on-line, by using a hand scanner.

Responsibilities: i was a seasonal order picker. i scanned a bar-code with my RF scanner in went to the location and picked a certain amount of items and put them in there correct box.

Accomplishments: learned how to work in a small area at a very fast pace and learned how to use different types of hand scanners and there functions.

Responsibilities: I was a leader or a display line my job was to make sure the display got built right and that the right amount of product was inside. I also had to make sure trucks got loaded and unloaded right and had to keep count or what we received everyday.

Accomplishments: I learned to become a leader of a team of 12+ people. Was trained and certified to use propane and electric four wheel fork lifts and pallet riders. Trained to do inventory and learned different DOT regulations and the different types of explosives and the proper way to handle and clean them up.
