Interests
I have found over the years that it has been important to maintain extra curricular activates outside of school. I have done so by taking gymnastics and competitive cheerleading. In high school, however, I found a passion for food. I was a member of the Culinary Arts team and also competed to gain the 4th place title in the state. I learned team building skills, communication skills, patience, loyalty, drive for a goal and most of all how to love what you do. I also was apart of DECA in high school my senior year. I went to a DECA competition which I placed 8th. This taught me how to develop a business plan, create a location and visual image to display to judges. I was able to see what it is like to pitch an idea before a board, where I learned professionalism. To do my part in the community I have donated clothing to Good Will and also set up a can food drive in school to collect as many cans as possible for the local shelter. I was able to see the kindness of people and develop long lasting relationships with people in the community.
