Responsibilities: Staff Tech: Perform a variety of laboratory procedures in an independent manner with little or no direct supervision. Produce accurate and timely test results appropriate to specific age groups by accepted laboratory standards. Senior Technologist: Manage staffing, budgets, physician inquiries and the day to day processes of a hospital based laboratory department.
Accomplishments: Built and installed new Laboratory Information System (LIS) for the Microbiology department in 1999. Became Microbiology Senior Technologist in September 2001. Implemented new procedures and installed new instrumentation for the department.

I am very family oriented. As a family we enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures and communities around the world.
